I Like To Watch Too presented the best of the young guns in international contemporary dance and performance art in Paradiso. With more than fourteen short performances throughout the building this event brings you, sometimes literally, in close contact with dance.

Typical for I Like To Watch Too, which is part of the Julidans festival, is that performers and spectators are on top of each other, performances happen in unexpected places and at unexpected moments and spectators are free to walk in and out. Artistic director Suzy Blok stays in tune with what is happening and brings work of a new generation on stage; dancers who cross borders to other disciplines: music, theatre and visual arts.

Who’s performing?

I Like To Watch Too shows dance and performance art in its most energetic and exciting form. Young (inter)national talents gets Paradiso moving with dance inspired by the society as they experience it themselves, from intimate pieces to extravagant performances throughout the building. The festival takes place every year during Julidans, this year on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th of July.

Here are some of the performers: Fabien Prioville (FR), Fernando Belfiore (NL), Spitfire Company (CZ), Wang Ramirez (FR), Imme van der Haak (NL), Andrea Miltnerová (CZ/UK), Federica Dauri (IT) and Clara Amaral (NL).  More information about the performances >>

Saturday 6 July there’s a club night in the style of I Like To Watch Too, where you can dance until the early hours.
